  31. MagicFile  is  a  full screen file module for Dialog Pro BB/OS-systems.  It
  32. has lots of features, look the docs for the list.

  40. VERSION: (V1.22 15.04.1995} A LOT of BUGS! Sorry!

  42.     Again it took too long to finish and release this update. And
  43.     it's quite amazing how many bugs can slip past the Controlling Eye. :(

  45.     (RELD)  Compiled with SAS C 6.55 and released to public
  46.     ( ADD)    AREA-gadget,  when  uploading  files  you can change the
  47.         destination area.
  48.     ( ADD)    A script which MagicFile will run when someone uploads a
  49.         file.   MF_UploadFile.batch  must be located in the main
  50.         directory of MagicFile.
  51.     ( ADD)    When  uploading  files,  MagicFile will try to open long
  52.         file  description  from  file T:<port>.body.  This makes
  53.         FILE_ID.DIZ  usage  possible.  With the aid of the above
  54.         script!
  55.     ( ADD)    'Edit  Long'-gadget  in  the  Upload-requester.  You can
  56.         edit  the  long  description.  The string requester does
  57.         not allow longer than 80 character strings.
  58.     ( ADD)    'EnterArea.txt'  will  be  displayed when user enters an
  59.         area where it exists.
  60.     ( ADD)    Some informative messages all around the program.
  61.     ( ADD)    Environment variable MF_ARCHANDLER.  Defines the program
  62.         used  to process archives.  Default is ArcHandler and if
  63.         MF_ARCHANDLER  is  defined  it  overrides  the  internal
  64.         defaul
  65.     ( ADD)    -f  parameter.  If specified, MagicFile will DISABLE all
  66.         AREA CHANGE commands.
  67.     (FIXD)    Upload   routine  improved.   Now  private  uploads  are
  68.         possible.   And  uploads  from  CURRENT  DIR are handled
  69.         properly too!
  70.     (FIXD)     A serious bug from Upload routine, which would crash the
  71.         machine  if  the  source  file  was NULL (0) bytes long!
  72.         Sorry!
  73.     (FIXD)    A  bug  from  configurable  executables.   Some programs
  74.         would  just freeze if started from MagicFile.  They were
  75.         programs  which used ReadArgs()-call to get command line
  76.         arguments.  Should work now.
  77.     (FIXD)    A requester bug, sysop couldn't enter EMPTY strings.
  78.     (FIXD)    A  bug  which  occured  after  W command (View Archive).
  79.         Archandler  wouldnt work immediately after using Archive
  80.         View option.  Simple bug actually:)
  81.     (FIXD)    Enforcer hit (BYTE READ) which occured in Date scan only
  82.         (New files/DateScan).  Harmless but annoying!
  83.     (FIXD)    New  File  Scan  didn't  surprisingly  work!  Everything
  84.         collapes when you don't pay attention to it :(
  85.     (FIXD)    A very old bug in ANSI scrolling routines! PHEW!
  86.     (CHNG)    After  editing  LONG description (upload) the first line
  87.         of  the  long  description  will  be  copied  into SHORT
  88.         desciprtion, like DLG does.
  89.     (CHNG)    Nodemessage-routine  now checks  every port when sending
  90.         messages.  Does not send if port has no user in it.
  91.     (BUGN)    Don't  use  -p parameter, there seems to be a bug in it.
  92.         The   date  conversion  routines  does  not  work  after
  93.         Saturday  01 September 1994.  I don't know is this my or
  94.         DLG's fault or is there something wrong in the C-library
  95.         time-routines.    Everything   worked  perfectly  before
  96.         01/09/94.   Solution  is
